Today we kick off with a new series in Beyondjazz, of which we plan to do more in the future: spotlight. It's just a fancy name for a special mix, focussing for example on the career of an artist, on the musical scene in a city or country, on a genre, on a specific timeframe, ... possibilities galore. Robert Strauss gets the honour of being the subject of the first spotlight. From his early unreleased '03 demos to his superdope '07 EP's.
