Release Date: 2006 March

Tracklist

Dirty Old Hip Hop is produced by Marc Mac and featuring Brad Somatik and Luke ’Hopper’ Parkhouse, like most of the 7 inches released on Omniverse.. The album will contain tracks from the allready released 7”es, pluss a couple of new ones. Recent radioplay indicate that Ike’s Mood (check Deviation/GPWW/ Nuwaveradio) is next in line of 7” releases, and is likely to appear on the album. The alternative (Visioneers) take on Marc Macs ’Simple Folk’ (from ’How About A Game Of Chess LP’) that can be heard on the opening page of omniverserecords.co.uk will be on it
among many other fine gems. I have a feeling this is going to be big, and it is.
Not familiar with the Visioneers releases? Shame one you!

So they are partnering with BBE? Great step forward on the distribution me thinks.

Playlist is there, it features not all of the tracks released on the singles, so also interesting for those who bought them these last 2 years.
Soundz good to me & movin' to BBE will get them indeed better distribution...

The 4Hero website says:
Quote:
The heavily anticipated LP 'RUN FOR COVER' produced by Marc Mac by Visioneers to drop in 2006.

Yes indeed Spectrum, and when i first posted this in upcoming, it had that album title.
But it seemed they changed their minds at some point, cause the omniverse page is much more updated than the 4hero "news" site.

Oh, and no need pionting out the obvious about the track list etc time and time again dudes..
(should have written it in the "tracklist" field ages ago, i know, but it was on the link I posted on new years all along so...)

Will be released in Germany on march 31st. I´d call it Acid Jazz (??). Does anybody know who did the original version of the song `Days gone By (Egyptology)´, covered here ? Heard it once on a GPWW show, but didn´t get the info.

@Jazzmadass: I did a quick google search and it came up with this: The song could be by Canadian jazz musician Don Thompson ... Why? Cause on the Visioneers 7inch it says "Christopher Lambert Music", and the Canadian Encyclopedia states that Thompson's music is copyright "Christopher Lambert Music". Ha, now call me Sherlock Holmes icon_wink.gif

Well done Mr. Google Holmes ! I did some further investigation about the case and know now almost everything about the head behind that beautiful sample for `Slowly Surely´. Thanks to the Visioneers, bringing back this heavenly melody.
